Email is the best way to reach us. There is no contact form to fill in and no account to make. Write in whatever language you are comfortable with and we will do our best to help.

What we can help with

Sizing questions are our favourite. Tell us what you want to run and for how long, and we can point you to the right inverter and battery range. We can also read a spec sheet with you, settle a pure sine versus modified sine question, or explain what a battery's Ah rating really means for your runtime. Spotted an error in a guide or a calculator? Send it over. Those emails get fixed fast.

What we cannot do

We are not a substitute for a licensed electrician. We will not tell you how to wire a battery bank or connect solar to your house. That work carries real risk, and it needs someone on site who knows your local codes and can see your setup. For anything involving mains wiring, please use a qualified pro.

Before you email about sizing

A good sizing question usually has three things in it. The appliances you want to keep running during an outage. The watts of the big ones, if the labels are handy. And how many hours of backup you are hoping for. With that, we can give you a real answer instead of a guess. If you have already used the inverter size calculator, paste the result into your email and we will sanity check it.

Suggesting a topic

If there is a guide you wish existed, tell us. A lot of what gets written here started as a reader email. We cannot promise to cover everything, but every suggestion gets read and the good ones move up the list.
